Doany is small fishing village on the northwest coast of Madagascar with a beautiful beach which is a popular weekend destination by visitors from Ambanja.

An outdoors restaurant named Ravinala in the village centre serves fresh seafood and various Malagasy meals daily.

The Shambala guesthouse directly by the beach offers accommodation and sailing activities while Le Panoramique on the hill behind the village is a hotel and restaurant with a beautiful view.

The village and beach is located three kilometres from Ankify where boat transfers connects the mainland with Nosy Be.

Further information
