After a long of day of fishing the men of the village pull their boats up on the beach where the catch is distributed amongst villagers. The women usually carry the catch home and it is not untypical to see them eloquently balancing big fish on their heads as if parading the latest millinery fashion down a Paris catwalk.
This picture was taken in Morondava, a charming coastal town on the southeast coast of Madagascar.
