Every year in July and August the ''Kabiry Festival'' is organised for over four days in [[Ambilobe]]. Since year 2000, this cultural and artistic event aims to showcase the culture of the Antankarana people so that the their future generations know about will remember their traditions and customs. About 3,500 people usually participate the in this festival.
