Maison Zaza in Mazava, located halfway between Vohemar and Sambava, is a vanilla estate where vanilla farmers Mr and Mrs Zaza offers five bungalows on their property, two of them with a panoramic view of the surrounding landscapes.
The adjacent restaurant and bar serves zebu brochett and specially ordered meals if requested in advance. The bar and restaurant at Maison Zaza is a regular meeting place for locals with karaoke (weekends) and sporting events being shown on a TV screen.
The nearest town is Ampanefena about 4km north, which is the largest town between Vohemar and Sambava.
