Alasora is a town and commune in the Antananarivo Avaradrano district, located in the south-east of Madagascar's capital Antananarivo.

Alasora is known for beeing one of the twelve sacred hills of the ancient Merina Kingdom.

Birthplace of Rafohy and her daughter Rangita, the earliest queens, and where Andriamanelo, their son and grandson, reigned circa 1540. (Text by Isabelle Ratsira)
