The Jacob Mosque stands in the centre of Diego Suarez, the northernmost town in Madagascar.

Constructed in 1921, it is one of the Sunnite places of cult of the Muslim. The Sunnites in Diego-Suarez are from Yemen (the first dockers), Mauritius, Comoros, from Surat in India and the converted Malagasies.
