Alphonse, the President of the cooperative, has a 4h cacao planting area around KOSAMA's processing facility close to the village of [[Ambohimena]] located between [[Ambanja]] and [[Ankify]]. Its members represent planting areas of about 100 hectares in the regions of Ambanja and [[Sambirano]].

KOSAMA's cacao fermentation and drying facilityareas, which is are biologically certified by Ecocert, supply cacao beans to Malagasy artisanal chocolate makers such as [[Éka Chocolate]] among other premium bean-to-bar chocolate brands in different countries.
The cooperative welcomes visitors who would like to visit a cacao plantation to learn about cacao production.
