Marovato is a common name for villages and small towns in Madagscar.

There is a

  • Marovato in the Ambanja district (northwest Madagascar)
  • Marovato in the Antsiranana II district (north Madagascar)


The name Marovato can be translated with "many stones" or "many rocks" - maro is Malagasy for many and vato means stone/rock.
