8 days hike to Cap Est
Day 1: Maroantsetra – Farankaraina
1h30min river trip with local canoe along Andranofotsy river and start for 2 hours of easy walk to Farankaraina Park. Camping. 7pm night walk and searching for the Aye-Aye and Brown mouse lemurs and snakes.
Day 2: Farankaraina - Fizono
6 hours walk through the villages of Navana and Mahalevona to see the chameleons.
Day3: Fizono - Ampokafo
7 hours walk through the secondary and primary forest and crossing rivers. Searching for the Red ruffed lemur which is endemic to Masoala National Park.
Day 4: Ampokafo - Tsararapaka
The hardest part of this hike are 2 hours of climbing through the secondary forest and a steep down to the primary forest to Tsararapaka (meaning good floor) where the camp site will be.
Day 5: Tsararapaka - Be filipo
Through the primary and secondary forest and observing the endemic birds of Masoala such as Helmeted Vanga, Berniers Vanga and the biggest waterfall (cascade) in Madagascar.
Day 6: Be filipo - Marivorano
6 hours walk through the cardamom forest and crossing rivers several times.
Day 7: Marivorano - Antanandavaely
6 hours walk through the secondary forest, crossing rivers and villages.
Day 8: Antanandavaely - Cap East, Antalaha
5 hours of long river trip with local boat made of Canariume tree trunk (dug-out canoe) to Cap Est observing the crocodiles of Cap Est and 3 hours by taxi-brousse to the hotel in Antalaha.

Masoala - Nosy Mangabe Tour 2017
Day 1
Welcome at Maroantsetra airport, taxi transfer to the harbour. Boat transfer to Masoala, and visiting the primary forest of Masoala National Park, searching for red ruffed lemurs and Helmeted Vanga which are endemic of Masoala National Park. In the afternoon snorkelling in marine reserve protected by local community in Ambodiforaha.
Day 2
Long walk through the secondary and primary forest of Masoala.
Day 3
Today we have to enjoy the proximity to the Indian Ocean along the coastal forest to the marine park, for snorkelling in coral reef and picnic lunch on Tampolo beach and river trip with local canoe made of Canarium tree trunk (dug-out) on Tampolo River.
Boat transfer to the lodge. In sort of this journey you will also visit the village, and plantations of vanilla, cinnamons, cloves, and rice field, coffee bush. At the end visiting the school and we will participate on local traditional dances
Day 4
1h30 boat transfer to Nosy Mangabe Reserve. Searching for Brookesia, which is very tiny chameleon, smallest in the world, which lives on the ground among the dried leaf, and visit the Toombs of
( Leaftailed Gecko) Uroplatus Fumbriatus is the largest Gecko in Madagascar, and Boas and back to the Camp site Days:5 • Boat transfer to FarankarainaVisiting tree nursery and secondary forest, searching for the lemurs and chameleons and back to the lodge
• After lunch relaxing on the beautiful beach before the night walk ,7 pm searching for the famuse Aye-Aye and other species of lemurs active at night, Brown mouse lemur, wooly lemurs, snakes, to see the nature night life
