Bemaneviky is a larger village (or even small town) located along the Sambirano River in the northwest of Madagascar. The village has several schools, various shops and small restaurants. Once a week the streets of Bemaneviky turn into a large open-air market.

Along the main road just before the market hall there is a hotel on the left side of the street renting out very basic rooms. Those with a desire for a bit more comfort should ask the locals for a private room. In 2016, such a private room on an enclosed property cost 15,000 Ariary.
