Coppeneur Chocolate

Coppeneur is German chocolate producer since 1993 that uses cocoa grown in various South American locations. Recently, they set up a cocoa plantation on Nosy Be Island in northern Madagascar where they grow organic Criollo and Trinitario cocoa derived from the Sambirano region. Their first crop is expected in 2011. A 3-part German TV programme documents their project below.
