Eden Hotel

Still the best hotel in the city of Tulear. As the name indicates, many green tropical plants in a quite and comfortable outside area with wooden tables and chairs makes an ideal lunch or dining venue. There is a hotel bar with the obligatory rum assortment (lychee, vanilla, cinnamon...). Rooms have air-conditioning, TV, minibar, safe and bathroom. A fairly run down casino with slot machines is annexed to the hotel.

While the hotel restuarant offers excellent Malagasy food, there's also a nice Italian restuarant and bar just across the road.

Airport pick-up/transfer service is offered to guests at a slightly reduced taxi rate.
