The restaurant has a very basic menu. Due to its location so close to the ocean, Gargote Lagon is specialised in seafood. A handwritten board suggests meals freshly prepared of the catch of the day.
The restaurant is managed by the Malagasy owner Martha and with the help of her French boyfriend Mathieu take great care of their . Every six weeks Mathieu takes a 6-weeks break from his work in Angola to relax in Ramena. In those days guestsare not only served in Malagasy and French, but also in English.
