Since January 2016, the until then free tourist visa for up to 30 days is now also subject to a charge. The prices for all other visa types have been adjusted accordingly. Visas for up to 90 days can be issued on arrival directly at the Ivato International Airport. It is not necessary to provide a passport photo, just a valid return ticket.

  • 60 days
    • 35 Euro

  • 90 days
    • 45 Euro

Visa charges as of December 2015 according to the ministry of finance in Madagascar:

  • 30 days
    • 80,000 Ariary

  • 60 days
    • 100,000 Ariary

  • 90 days
    • 140,000 Ariary

  • 3 years
    • 150,000 Ariary

  • 5 years
    • 200,000 Ariary

  • more than 5 years
    • 250,000 Ariary
