After lunch en route, we continue on to the [[Andasibe Analamazaotra Special Reserve|Analamazaotra Reserve]] (Perinet) and check into the Feoniala Feon' ny Ala Lodge. In the evening, we join our naturalist guide for a walk in the reserve in search of mouse lemurs, frogs, chameleons... Overnight at Feoniala Feon' ny Ala Lodge. The park has an interesting interpretation centre at the entrance. The highlights include the [[Indri|Indri indri]], Madagascar’s largest lemur species that gives birth in May; Parson's chameleon, amazing bugs, butterflies, lizards and over a hundred species of birds. Our visit allows us to admire Eastern montane rainforest and its epiphyte plants, such as orchids and bird-nest ferns. After our visit we continue to drive down to Tamatave.
