Tourists visiting Madagascar for maximum 30 days do not require a visa. For stays longer than a month a visa can be issued on arrival directly at the Ivato International Airport. It is not necessary to provide a passport photo, just a valid return ticket.

Update January 2016: According to gov.uk (20th January 2016) a 30-day visa is no longer free. According to independent.co.uk (January 2016), the price is/was €31.
