To the north of the village is [[Cap Est]] - the most easterly point of Madagascar.''' Entering the village from the south, one should take the chance to visit the lighthouse to get a 360° view onto the Indian Ocean, Cap Est and green hinterland. To the north of the village is the production facility of [[Naturalg]].  From [[Antalaha]] it takes about 3 hours by car along a bumpy umpaved road including river crossings to reach Ambodirafia.
