The Silky sifaka or "simpona malandy" in Malagasy ("simpona" = lemur and "malandy" = white), scientifically known as Propithecus diadema candidus, can be found in Marojejy National Park and in the Anjanaharibe-Sud Special Reserve, where it is endemic.
