KOSAMA, short for Kooperative Sambirano Manongalaza, is a cooperative of cacao farmers since 2022.
Alphonse, the President of the cooperative, has a 4h cacao planting area around KOSAMA's processing facility close to the village of Ambohimena located between Ambanja and Ankify. Its members represent planting areas of about 100 hectares in the regions of Ambanja and Sambirano.
