Antohomaro is a small village by Lake Andamoty, 7km from Sambava in the direction of Antalaha. Although the lake is known to be home to crocodiles, they are reportedly on the southern end of the lake and are not commonly sighted, as locals still bathe and wash their clothes by the lakeshore near the village.
