The banners displayed below appear in the left column on all pages of the MadaCamp site in a random order and thereafter alternate every 15 seconds:
The set-up procedure for adding new banners:
- Create an 147x85 pixels image in GIMP
- File:Banner template.xcf
- Paste in background
- Select all
- Select -> Rounded Rectangle -> Radius (12%)
- Unselect top-left, bottom-left and right.
- Copy background
- Paste new layer
- Add text or move text on top. Sans Bold 13 / hinting and antialiasing. Line-spacing -4.0 if multiple lines are used. Position center and 6 pixels down if on top and 4 pixels up if on bottom.
- Save as xcf/png/jpeg/gif
- Add png, jpg or gif to to array in MediaWiki:Common.js (image/link-target/preload)
