It is considered fady by locals to visit the island as it is believed death will occur to those who step ashore, as such, no people live there and no boat transfers are available. One can however easily admire the view of this unudual island from a safe distance of the shore.
Nosy Lonja, a few kilometres from Diego town, along the road towards Ramena Village.
