Travel Exchange is a currency exchange service that opened in March 2010, located at Ivato Airport in front of the International terminal, just across the parking lot.
Travel Exchange offered a slightly better rate for Ariary than banks in Antananarivo and other cities in Madagascar in 2010 and 2011. (In November 2011, the rate for buying Ariary with Euro was 2780). When arriving from abroad, it's probably a good idea to change enough currency here to last an entire stay in Madagascar. Open 24/7.
