Hotel Fitiavana is a simple restaurant located in the village of Andrakadilana in the east of Madagascar. The restaurant offers basic Malagasy meals which are mainly based on rice. Recommended after the meal is a coffee, brewed with beans from the nearby growing coffee shrubs.
For hikers doing the Maroantsetra Antalaha trek the hotel also offers beds for the night.
Fitiavana can be translated with "Love, affection, liking" according to the Malagasy-English dictionary by Fredrick Stang Hallanger published in 1973.
