Nosy Ankao, or Miavana, is the location of a new luxury island resort off the northeast coast of Madagascar.
The resort is being developed by a South African company which also developed North Island in the Seychelles with a nature conservation concept funded by holiday makers ready to pay between $2,000 and $3,000 p/night. Miavana is scheduled to open in 2017.
