Ivato Conference Center is located next to a large tower block that was intended to become a hotel commonly referred as the five star Chinese hotel that never opened. The conference centre can be reached within 10 minutes by car from Ivato International Airport or in about 30 minutes from the city of Antananarivo depending on the traffic jams.
Ivato Conference Center is a regular venue for trade and industry events. For example, in 2016, Madagascar hosted the COMESA Summit at this location.
For lunch outside the conference facilites, Mo Café is a nearby restaurant with an excellent Mauritian kitchen. When coming from the conference centre, Mo Café can be found at the first large junction approximately 2km along the main road leading towards the airport.
