Antsahadinta is one of the twelve sacred hills of the ancient Merina Kingdom, located in the south-west of Antananarivo.
It was here that Andramizao, Minister of National Education under Ranavalona II, found the wisest and prettiest girl of Imerina. He begged the queen to give the girl's hand to him in marriage. (Text by Isabelle Ratsira)
