Black Nadia (Kantoniaina Ornella Edith Nadia) is a singer-songwriter from south Amboasary, near Fort Dauphin who also lived in the Tulear region. She was spotted in Fort-Dauphin where she was hired as a dancer before choosing to embark on a solo career in 2010. With singles like "Bonjour Bonsoir" in 2011 Black Nadia became one of the best known musicians in Madagascar.
