Ankify

Ankify is a small village and harbour in northwest Madagascar. The harbour connects ferries to Nosy Be and Nosy Komba at least once a day. Do not always expect a stable ferry, prepare yourself for a small fishing trawler.

Ankify offers a few hotels and a nice stretch of coastline. The district capital Ambanja is located 18 kilometres from Ankify. The once bad road connecting Ankify with Ambanja has been tarred in 2011. Nature lovers will enjoy a walk through the huge mangroves near Ankify.
