Ambodirafia

Ambodirafia is a small village located along the coast in the northeast of Madagascar. To the north of the village is Cap Est - the most easterly point of Madagascar.

Entering the village from the south, one should take the chance to visit the lighthouse to get a 360° view onto the Indian Ocean, Cap Est and green hinterland.

To the north of the village is the production facility of Naturalg.

From Antalaha it takes about 3 hours by car along a bumpy umpaved road including river crossings to reach Ambodirafia. Although the ride might be hard, the view compensates for the unpleasantness as the road follows the coastline.
