Morengy

Moraingy means boxing in Madagascar. This is a barenuckle and kickboxing combat. In June and July, the Sakalavas meet for the traditional struggle: the "Moraingy". This fight between the members of neighboring villages is typical in this region.

Moraingy boxing tournaments are usually takign place at the regulary Sunday gatherings on the beach of Samabava.
