Maromokotro

Maromokotro (2,876 metres) is the highest mountain of Madagascar, located within the Tsaratanana Massif in the northern part of the island. A trail in good condition leads to the peak. To reach the top of the mountain takes about one week. During the winter months the peak is covered with snow.
