Doany is small village on the northwest coast of Madagascar with a beautiful beach popular with weekend visitors from Ambanja.
The village and beach is located three kilometres from Ankify where the harbour for boat transfers connects the mainland with Nosy Be.
Shambala is a guesthouse by the beach offering accommodation activities to visiting tourists. An outdoors restaurant named Ravinala in the village centre serves fresh seafood and various Malagasy meals everyday. There is hotel up the hill behind the village named Le Panoramique with a beautiful view.
