The way up leads through the forest trail which is the most likely path part to encounter lemurs. The descent can either be made on the southern side of the mountain which will join a walking route between footpath connecting the Diana and SAVA region. Or for more lemur watching, choose the same return route back as you camefrom, which in all is becomes slightly less distance.

The route towards the south, however, is the offers more scenic path views of the surrounding landscapes and will pass through a bamboo forest followed by until reaching a small natural pool where numerous birds can usually be spotted. This which also makes an happens to make a nice resting place and picnic spot. The walk thereafter continues for about 20 minutes until the camp.
