While itthe company's cocao cacao is harvested in the [[Sambirano]] arearegion, its vanilla beans are is grown and harvested in the [[SAVA]] region and transported while still green to [[Ambanja]] to take advantage of the relatively drier weather conditions where they are to be dried , sorted and prepared graded until ready for export.
