The very typical Malagasy restaurant Vary Gasy is located in the Isoraka district in the centre of Antananarivo. The restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch and serves basic Malagasy meals such as rice with fish, meat or vegetables.

Although the restaurant is quite invisible from the street it is very famous with the locals. On a daily basis the menu offers three main dishes to choose from. A second menu suggests side dishes such as fried egg, salad or soup.
