Ambovombe
Ambovombe, which in Malagasy means 'place of many wells', is a lively town close to the south coast. The town hosts the annual Androy Music Festival at the end of October. A weekly market is held on Mondays.
Ambovombe, or Abovombre Androy, is the capital of the Androy region.
