Namehana

Namehana is one of the twelve sacred hills of the ancient Merina Kingdom.

Namahena is located in the north of Antananarivo and became famous on account of a battle between units of the Hova army and the rearguard of the French expedition in 1895. (Text by Isabelle Ratsira)
