Changes

Nosy Lava, also known as Long Island, lies about 15km off the coast of [[Ananalava]]. The island is a former maximum security prison. It is said that some of the former inmates still live on the island as they enjoy modern conveniences such as electricity not necessarily available elsewhere. A lighthouse that was built in 1910 is situated on the highest point of the island, which may or may not be in use.

There is another island also named [[Nosy Lava]] north of [[Nosy Be]] that is part of the [[Mitsio_Archipelago]].
