The Ambohijatovo Park, also called Analakely Park, is located in the centre of [[Antananarivo]]. The park was developed by the Urban Commune and is shaded by large eucalyptus, jacaranda and casuarina trees. In 1987 a monument <!--'Stele of March 29 ?? --> memorial column was erected on the southern entrance of the park in memory of those who disappeared during the insurrection of March 1947.
A monument outside the park is dedicated to the christian martyrs who were burned alive in Faravohitra or thrown off the hill Tsimihatsaka or executed in Ambohipotsy in 1847.
