Makassar Tours is an IATA certified travel agency and tour operator since 2005 in Antananarivo, Madagascar, with a reservations office in Paris. A team of Malagasy travel consultants will book flights or complete tours to anyone who wish to make the most of their Madagascar travel experience
Visit the beaches in the hot south, the national parks in the north, hike through the tsingy in the west, travel on a passanger and goods ferry along the world's longest manmade waterway channel of the Pangalanes in the east, or hike through the sacred forest of the Tsaranoro Valley combined with a visit to the Andringitra National Park in the mountainous region of Matsiatra.
Makassar organises various active holidays, such as canoeing, rafting, rock climbing, diving, paragliding and bird-watching. Many tours include visits to Madagascar's National Parks, such as Marojejy National Park, the Ankarana National Park, the Ankarafantsika National Park. A highly recommended tour is a visit to the agricultural region of Ambanja in the north, including biking and trekking along the Sambirano River. This tour is combined with a homestay in an authentic cacao farming village to experience the daily life from the perspective of a local cacao farmer, while discovering the natural beauty of the Sambirano Valley.
Makassar Tours Antananarivo is less than 5 minutes by taxi from the Soarano Train Station (main train station) and Independence Avenue. The office can be found on the ground floor via the corner entrance of the Santa Antanimena building (next to La Chocolatière boutique).
Whether you would like a complete tour package including international flights or just have your domestic flights tickets organised in the last moment, we look forward to hearing from you!
