Antsohihy (pronounced antsooee) is the capital of the Sofia and Antsohihy district, within the larger Mahajanga district of northern Madagascar. The town of had about 20,000 inhabitants in 2005.
Antsohihy has an airstrip that is serviced by Air Madagascar.
Antsohihy is connected inland with the Loza river that joints a waterway leading all the way to the ocean, past Ananalava, an isolated coastal town that during wet periods is only accessible by boat or light plane.
