Travelling through the countryside of Madagascar can be done by taxi-brousse, private bus services such as Madasmiles, train or TransPost. Distances between small villages or towns can be immense and owning private cars is very rare amongst Malagasy people. The local post service Paositra MALAGASY combines postal delivery with transporting passangers and goods from A to B. This service is called TransPost.
