Belle Rose Beach Hotel
Built almost entirely in wood and in the style of a large villa, the Belle Rose Beach Hotel is a perfect place to enjoy the view and sounds of the ocean when visiting the picturesque town of Antalaha.
Named after the Belle Rose neighbourhood in the south part of Antalaha, the hotel is within walking distance of Antalaha town centre when coming either from along the beach or via the town's main road and lively marketplaces.
While the hotel does not have a restaurant with a fixed menu, breakfast, lunch and dinner can be pre-ordered and served on the terrace or room balcony. Alternatively, there are several food stalls at the nearby Avenue de l'Émergence and during most evenings of the week, especially on weekends, there is a lively atmosphere in the area. Other restaurants can be found along the main road and further into the town centre.
On Sundays, there is usually a music event in the adjoining functions hall of the hotel which is a large enough space to host weddings and conferences.
It's sometimes a venue for music performers, and unless there is a major artist, like WAWA, at which time the hotel will likely be full and less quiet than usual throughout the night, regular music events, mixed with "Open Mic Cabaret" karaoke end around 11pm. The hotel has been Andry Rajoelina's favourite place of residence when visiting Antalaha during his election campaign rallies.
There are in all 12 spacious rooms with a balcony or terrace facing the sea a few short steps from the beach. All rooms are well-equipped with en suite bathrooms, a shower with hot water, fridge, ventilator and/or air conditioning, satellite TV and a fast Wifi connection. As of 2024, the rooms are priced at 80,000 Ar per night.
