While the company's cacao is harvested in the [[Sambirano]] region, its vanilla is grown and harvested in the [[SAVA]] region and transported while still green to [[Ambanja]] to take advantage of the relatively drier less rainy weather conditions to be sun-dried, sorted and graded until ready for export.
