While the company's cacao is harvested in the [[Sambirano]] region, its vanilla is grown and harvested in the [[SAVA]] region and transported while still green to [[Ambanja]] to take advantage of the relatively less rainy weather conditions to be where it is sun-dried, sorted into black vanilla and graded until ready prepared for export.
