After a few months of calm, the epidemic rebounded again, especially in the region of Vakinankaratra (33 cases in Antsirabe I), Haute Matsiatra / Fianarantsoa (5 cases) and Menabe / Morondava (4 cases). As before, the reliability of the statistics is in doubt and the estimated number of undetected cases may be much higher.
